Bologna, Italy (Online / in Italian)

Fabiana Zollo is the host of one of the lecture series “The Word to Science”, curated by Fondazione Golinelli.

Social media have transformed the information landscape and have become the main source of information for many users over the years. Thanks to the Internet, information now circulates easily and quickly, in a continuous flow in which everyone has immediate access to increasingly personalized content.

Fabiana Zollo, researcher and professor of Computer Science at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, helps us find out how digital traces can be analyzed to study social dynamics and online public debate, highlighting the key role played by polarization in the digital information space. Francesco Suman moderates the meeting.

Introductory remarks by Fondazione Golinelli.
